Using the Easy Editor is a quick way to create cards. Place your mouse cursor under Question 1 and enter your question. Next enter your Answer. Then press Next. Now enter your next question, etc. After you have finished entering all of your cards in the set, click the Save button to save the card set to the server.

To create cards rapidly, you can use a few key shortcuts. First enter your question, then press TAB. You can immediately begin typing your answer. Now press TAB again. Notice the "Next" button is hilighted. Press the Enter key or the Space key. Notice your card is saved and your cursor is back to the question box. You can immediately begin typing your next question. There is no need to use your mouse during the whole process.

You can also click on cards in the preview pane to jump directly to that card and begin editing them.

Normally your card file will be parsed and spruced up a bit to try to make it look nice with minimal effort. If you enter multiple lines, your answer will be placed into a list. If you enter a [: ] (colon space) the parts before the colon will be bolded. So you can enter something like

Memory Item: Step 1
Memory Item2: Step 2

And it will turn out like this:

Memory Item: Step 1
Memory Item2: Step 2

Please note that when setting font colors, sizes and styles, this will override the settings set on the mobile device itself. It is recommended to use plain text unless you are highlighting specific words. You should also use Remove Formatting button to changed styled text back to plain text.

Insert Equation

You can insert equations into a flashcard using the TeX language. Additional symbols on WikiBooks.

Basics: Symbols are a slash followed by a symbol name. Anything between 2 curly braces represents a logical group.

Try typing in one of the example equations:
