Atropine

    competes with the acetylcholine receptors
  3. Indications
    Bradycardia, nerve agent exposure,PEA, asytole
  4. Contraindications
    Acute MI, Gi obstruction, sensitivity to the drug, belladonna alkaloids or sulfites
  5. Dose adult
    Symptomatic bradycardia .5mg iv every three to five minutes max dose 3mg

    Asystole 1mg every three to five minutes, max dose 3mg

    Nerve agent 2-4mg repeat every20min
  6. Dose Pedi
    Symptomatic Bradicardia .02 mg/kg

    nerve agent .05mg/kg 10to30 min
