Cargo Door and Ramp System Failure:
--A. release cargo door after normal procedures have failed:
--B. If ramp locks fail to lock the ramp in the closed position:
- 1. pull cargo door uplock manual release lever down
- 2. after free fall, proceed with normal closing
- 1. Check fluid level in AUX hyd. reservoir
- 2. If low find leak and isolate
- 3. If normal, turn aux pump off (direct front crew to turn pump off)
- 4. Rotate knob clockwise to 4
- 5. Turn pump on, ensure ramp closed
- 6. Turn pump off
- 7. Rotate knob to 5, turn pump on
- 8. If locks engage and lights out, turn pump off
- 9. Rotate knob to 6N
- 10. If ramp locks still fail to engage, rotate knob to 4 operate hand pump til approx. 4,100 PSI
- 11. Rotate to 5, hand pump til approx. 4,100 PSI
- 12. If ramp locks still fail, ensure aux pump is off, rotate to 4 and turn pump on for rest of flight
- --a.(do not pressurize A/C if ramp locks fail to lock)

A. Acknowledge pilot to prepare for Jettisoning
- Ramp Pallet
- 1. Remove all restraint securing load to ramp floor
- 2. Open aft cargo door
- 3. Station 1 crewmember, if avail., at each of the 2 ramp release handles
- 4. lower cargo ramp
- 5. Notify pilot "ready to Jettison"
- 6. Pull L&R realease handles on command of P
- 7. Notify P "load clear" or condition

- Pallets on Cargo Floor

- 4. Pull RH Emerg. realease to Emerg. postition
- 5. Unlock LH locks (single or all) on command of P
- 6. Notify Pilot "load clear" or condition
- 7. Remaining pallets jet. using steps 5 & 6

Towed Parachutist (Tailgate Exit)

- 5. Static-Line (if conscious first priority is to cut free) W - if iscillating stop rewind until stabilized W - last 5 feet are most crucial
- a. Strap installed (thread front to rear around vertical support at 840 approx. 5 1/2 ft. above ramp. Attach hook end into strap and draw taut. route ratchet around other side and attach to tiedown ring fwd of 840. Ratchet taut) (AC w/ tiedown rings at 847 (waterline 208) attach hook end to wall tiedown ring same side as parachutist, hook facing fwd. attach ratch end opposite side. remove slack.) (pre-measure prioe to pre slowdown and excess strap taped.)
