    • indication: Benadryl is an antihistamine. Diphenhydramine blocks the effects of the naturally occurring chemical histamine in the body.Benadryl is used to treat sneezing; runny nose; itching, watery eyes; hives; rashes; itching; and other symptoms of allergies and the common cold.Benadryl is also used to suppress coughs, to treat motion sickness, to induce sleep, and to treat mild forms of Parkinson's disease
  2. Mylanta
    • Generic Name: Calcium Carbonate/Magnesium Carbonate.
    • Indication: Treating acid indigestion, heartburn, and sour stomach. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor. Mylanta is an antacid. It works by neutralizing the acid in the stomach
  3. Tums
    • Generic Name: calcium carbonate
    • Indication: Calcium is a mineral that is found naturally in foods. Calcium is necessary for many normal functions of the body, especially bone formation and maintenance. Calcium can also bind to other minerals (such as phosphate) and aid in their removal from the body. Calcium carbonate is used to prevent and to treat calcium deficiencies.
  4. Maalox
    • Generic Name: Aluminum/Magnesium.
    • Indication: Treating acid indigestion, heartburn, and sour stomach. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.Maalox Concentrate is an antacid. It works by neutralizing acid in the stomach.
  5. Carafate
    • Generic Name: sucralfate
    • indication: Carafate is an anti-ulcer medication. arafate is not greatly absorbed into the body through the digestive tract. It works mainly in the lining of the stomach by adhering to ulcer sites and protecting them from acids, enzymes, and bile salts.Carafate is used to treat an active duodenal ulcer. It can heal an active ulcer, but it will not prevent future ulcers from occurring.
  6. Protonix
    • Generic Name: pantoprazole
    • Indication: Protonix is in a group of drugs called proton pump inhibitors. It decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Protonix is used to treat erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus from stomach acid), and other conditions involving excess stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Protonix is not for immediate relief of heartburn symptoms.
  7. Prilosec
    • Generic Name: omeprazole
    • indication: Prilosec (omeprazole) belongs to a group of drugs called proton pump inhibitors. Omeprazole decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach.Prilosec is used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions caused by excess stomach acid. It is also used to promote healing of erosive esophagitis (damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid).Prilosec may also be given together with antibiotics to treat gastric ulcer caused by infection with helicobacter pylori (H. pylori)
  8. Nexium
    • Generic Name: esomeprazole.
    • Indication: Nexium (esomeprazole) belongs to a group of drugs called proton pump inhibitors. Nexium decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Nexium is used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Nexium is also used to promote healing of erosive esophagitis (damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid). Nexium may also be given to prevent gastric ulcer caused by infection with helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), or by the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs).Nexium is not for immediate relief of heartburn symptoms.
  9. Prevacid
    • Generic Name: lansoprazole
    • Indication: Prevacid (lansoprazole) belongs to a group of drugs called proton pump inhibitors. Prevacid decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Prevacid is used to treat and prevent stomach and intestinal ulcers, erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus from stomach acid), and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Prevacid is not for immediate relief of heartburn symptoms.
