Ask: Had those that had seen Jesus, seen God?

"No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten son who is in the bosom [position] with the Father is the one that has explained him."

Conclusion: Jesus is NOT God, otherwise it would be untrue that no man has ever seen God.

Jesus said to her: “Stop clinging to me. For I have not yet ascended to the Father. But be on your way to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and YOUR Father and to my God and YOUR God.’”

Ask: If Jesus were God, why would he say he has to ascend to "his" God?

27 For [God] “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that it is with the exception of the one who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.

Reasoning: This is long after Jesus' resurrection, long after Armageddon. Mankind is finally brought to perfection, Satan is eliminated. If Jesus were God, why would he "subject himself" to God? It certainly doesn't make sense that he would subject himself to himself. That is nonsense.

But these have been written down that YOU may believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, and that, because of believing, YOU may have life by means of his name.

Reasoning: by the time John wrote this, Jesus was already back in heaven. If Jesus truly were the Almight God, you would expect a straightforward proclamation of that. Yet John consistently taught Jesus was God's Son, not God himself.

If he called ‘gods’ those against whom the word of God came, and yet the Scripture cannot be nullified, 36 do YOU say to me whom the Father sanctified and dispatched into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, I am God’s Son?

Note: The ones Jesus is referring to that were "called gods" are the judges in ancient Israel. This is because the held the power of capital punishment, thus, like a "god" controlling life/death of a person. Jesus was not claiming to be a god (judge--see John 3:17). He was only claiming to be God's Son. If however, Jesus truly was God, then he lied--because God would never have forfieted his role as judge regardless of his form (spirit or flesh).

But he, being full of holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of God’s glory and of Jesus standing at God’s right hand, and he said: “Look! I behold the heavens opened up and the Son of man standing at God’s right hand.”

Reasoning: Since we're talking about the resurrected and glorified Jesus, back in heaven, if the Bible writers wanted us to believe that Jesus is "God, the Son" why seperate God from Jesus in these verses? Clearly, they are two distinct individuals.

"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;"

Reasoning, Even if we, for sake of discussion, accept Trinitarians' claim that "firstborn" means "primary" or "most excellent," nonetheless, Jesus is here included in things that were created. God has always been. God is NOT a creature, a creation.

"“Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, but the Father."

Reasoning: If Jesus IS God, why didn't he know? If you say it is because he was limited by his human existance, then why didn't the "Holy Spirit" know?

"But I want YOU to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn the head of a woman is the man; in turn the head of the Christ is God."

Reasoning: Since Paul wrote the above after Jesus was already back in heaven, why say that the head of Christ is God if he himself, now back in heaven, was also God?
