If FIRE DET FAIL light illuminates following an ENG FIRE PUSH switch illumination, the fire should be considered to be burning

• Remaining Illum Eng Fire Bottle Switch..Push
• Land..............Nearest Suitable Airport

• If FIRE DET FAIL light illuminates without an ENG FIRE PUSH switch illumination or any other indication of an engine fire:
• Repair fault prior to next flight

• Immediate Relight:
• N₂ Verify above 52%
• CAUTION
• Engine damage may result if an immediate relight is attemted below 52% N₂

• If N2 is not above 52% or neither engine relights:
• Battery.................................Emer

• 1. Emergency Stow Push Switch (affected engine)-PUSH
• 2. Altitude-BELOW 30,000 FEET
• 3. Airspeed (until reverser stows/locks)-BELOW 135 KIAS

• 1.Autopilot....................DISCONNECT
• 2.Airspeed.................Slow to 0.2 AOA
• 3.Thrust......................As Required
• (Slow to 0.25 AOA with speed brakes extended)
