  4. Engine Fire Detector Failure
    If FIRE DET FAIL light illuminates following an ENG FIRE PUSH switch illumination, the fire should be considered to be burning

    • Engine Fire Procedure...........Complete
    • Remaining Illum Eng Fire Bottle Switch..Push
    • Land..............Nearest Suitable Airport

    • If FIRE DET FAIL light illuminates without an ENG FIRE PUSH switch illumination or any other indication of an engine fire:
    • Repair fault prior to next flight

  8. Inadvertent thrust reverser deployment during takeoff above v1 (takeoff continued)
    • 1. Emergency stow push switch- push
    • 2. Nose up pitch attitude at rotation- 13-15 degrees desired
    • 3. Landing gear (positive climb)- up
    • 4. Airspeed- v2

    • If thrust reverser does not stow and lock, then:
    • 5. Thrust lever (affected engine)- cutoff
  9. Inadvertent thrust reverser deployment in flight
    • 1. Emergency Stow Push Switch (affected engine)-PUSH
    • 2. Altitude-BELOW 30,000 FEET
    • 3. Airspeed (until reverser stows/locks)-BELOW 135 KIAS

    • Speed-brakes............EXT
    • If airplane is in a nose-down attitude, initiate a wings level pull up without exceeding structural limits (3.2 gs)
