Action: Blocks stimulation of beta receptors in vasxular smooth muscle and the heart.

Use: Angina, hypertension

Action: Inhibits serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake in CNS.

Use: Depression, neuropathic pain associated with diabetes

Action: decreases inflammation by stabilizing leukocyte lysosomal membranes which decreases inflammation, suppresses immune response, stimulates bone marrow, and influences metabolism.

Use: Inflammation, immunosuppression

Action: Blocks beta2 adrenergic receptors which promotes smooth muscle relaxation of airways causing bronchodilation.

Use: Asthma, bronchospasm

Classification: NSAID, COX-2 inhibitor

Action: Inhibits prostaglandin synthesis by inhibiting COX-2.
