It hit Burma tracked from west to east along the coast of Burma a quarter of the population live there.

• Catergory 4 with 150 - 160mph winds.
• Rainfall - Up to 600mm
• Storm surge - Up to 3.5 m high

Very Limited. Indian Meteorological department had to relay information to the Burmese and most people lacked forms of media, just the state new agencies.
