    Cardiopulmonary cerebrovascular Resuscitation
  2. Cardiopulmonary Arrest is:
    The cessation of breathing and effective blood circulation
  3. 2 types of CPCR:
    • Basic life support
    • Advanced life support
  4. CPCR should be starte when?
    Within 2 minutes of arrest
  5. ABC-DE
    • Airway
    • Breathe
    • Circulation
    • - Drugs
    • - ECG
  6. A
    • Airway
    • Establish an airway by removing foreign material and intubating
  7. B
    • Breath
    • Assist by ventilation
    • 2 breaths every 3-5 second
    • 100% oxygen
  8. Circulation
    • 15lbs and below:
    • lateral ->120 compressions per minute
    • 15lbs and over:
    • dorsal-> 80-100 compressions/min
  9. Alternation Breathes
    • 2 breaths w/15 compressions
    • 1 breath w/5 compressions
  10. Advanced life support
    • Only after ABC has been successful
    • Drugs-Doxapram(RR)Epi(HR)
    • ECG
