May reduce discomfort with nasotracheal intubation

Hypersensitivity to "�caine" medications

Ophthalmic: 0.5% 5 mg/ml (1 ml, 2 ml, 15 ml)

Dosage and Administration
Adult
Apply liberal amount topically to tracheal tube
For nasotracheal intubation, it may be beneficial to insert a nasal airway lubricated topically with jelly to nares x 1 min. prior to intubation
