    • Block Na+ channel: slow intraventricular conduction

    • SE: bradycardia, N/V/Dizziness, hypothyroidism, photosensitivity
    • Take with food

    • No EtOH
    • Avoid chances in diet (green leavy vegetables)
    • Do not DC abruptly
    • Narrow therapeutic index

    • Avoid NSAIDS
    • Avoid Omeprazole, decreases effect
