Non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocker with a raped intermediate onset and duration of action.
Mechanism of Action
Binding competitively to cholinergic receptors at the motor end plate to antagonize the action of acetylchoine. Effects reversible in presence of acetylcholinesterase inhibitors.
Onset of Action
Onset: 30-60 sec
Peak: 1-3 min
Duration: 30-60 min
Half-Life: 14-18 min
Indications
Induction of skeletal muscle paralysis for RSI and/or ET intubation
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to drug
Precautions
Elevated HR, Elevated BP, should be administered with in adjusted doses under experienced clinicians.

Adult Dose
RSI Dose: 600 ug/kg (.6mg/kg)
Maintenance Dose: 100-200 ug (.1-.2mg/kg continuous infusion.
