    • FCP pilot look down lead's horizontal stabilizer leading edge or visualize 10 ft between wingtips

  4. ROUTE: Vertical (Stack)

    • ELEVATOR
  5. ROUTE: ANGLE (Line)

    • No single refernce possible due to size of cone. Normally will be in same vertical plane and thus able to see tail touching either wing

    • 30-45o cone (3 Aspect-4.5 Aspect)
    • Tail bisecting outer wing (3 aspect) out to tail touching tip of outer wing (4.5 aspect) as long as in same vertical plane

    • 500-1,000 ft from lead in the 30-45o cone
    • 500 ft- Lead is 2 x the size of the flash guard and at 1,000 ft- lead is same size as flash guard with lead's tail flash NOT being visible

  19. CLOSE TRAIL: Vertical (Stack)
