  3. Mechanism of Action
    Inhibits reabsorption of sodium chloride, Promotes prompt diuresis, vasodilation
  4. Onset of Action
    • Onset: 5-10 min (Vasodilation) 5-30 Minutes (Diuresis)
    • Peak: 30 min (Vasodilation) 20-60 min (Diuresis)
    • Duration: 2 hours (Vasodilation) 6 hours (Diuresis)
    • Half-Life: 30 min

    Pulmonary Edema secondary to CHF

    Pregnancy, Dehydration

    Protect from light, dehydration

    Few in emergency use
