    • Action: Flexes hand at wrist, abducts hand
  3. Palmaris longus
    • Origin: Medial epicondyle of the humerus
    • Insertion: Palmar aponeurosis
    • Action: Flexes hand at wrist
  4. Flexor carpi ulnaris
    • Origin: Medial epicondyle of the humerus, olecranon process of the ulna, shaft of the ulna
    • Insertion: Pisiform, hamate, 5th metacarple
    • Action: Flexes hand at wrist, adducts hand
  5. Flexor digitorum superficialis
    • Origin: Medial epicondyle of the humerus, coronoid process of the ulna, shaft of the radius
    • Insertion: Middle phalages of 2nd to 5th digit
    • Action: Flexes hand at wrist, Flexes proximal interphalangeal joints
  6. Flexor digitorum profundus
    • Origin: Ulna and interosseous membrane
    • Insertion: Distal phalages of 2nd to 5th digit
    • Action: Flexes distal interphalangeal joints
  7. Flexor pollicis longus
    • Insertion: Anterior radius and interosseous membrane
    • Orgin: Distal phalanx of pollux
    • Action: Flexes 1st interphalangeal join
  8. Pronator quadratus
    • Insertion: Distal and anterior ulna
    • Orgin: Distal and anterior radius
    • Action: Pronates forearm

    • Insertion: Lateral supracondylar ridge of the humerus
    • Orgin: Styloid process of the radius
    • Action: Flexes forearm at elbow, stabilizes elbow during flexion and extension

    • Insertion: Lateral supracondylar ridge of the humerus
    • Orgin: 2nd metacarpal
    • Action: Extends hand at wrist, abducts hand

    • Insertion: Lateral epicondyle of the humerus

    • Action: Extends hand at wrist, abducts hand

    • Insertion: Trapezium, 1st metacarpal
    • Action: Abducts pollex
