  1. Fable
    Brief story that uses animals or non-human to represent characteristics and teach morals. Similar to parables because it teaches a moral. Differs from parable because it uses animals and directly states the moral, unlike a parable.

    ex. - The Sun and the Wind > Persuasion better than force
  2. Parable
    Uses humans to teach a moral but does not directly state the moral.

    ex. - Prodigal Son
  3. Epiphany
    A sudden realization profound enough to change you
  4. Paradigm Shift
    A sudden and powerful change in perspective/the way you view a situation or the world.

    ex. - woman annoyed thinks man is eating her cookies then discovers she has been eating his, yet he has been generous and does not hold negative feelings.
