  1. What is faith?
    Hebrews 11:1

    Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
  2. Is faith essential for salvation?

    Eph 2:8
    For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
  3. Is faith essential for slavation?

    John 3:16
    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
  4. Is faith essential for salvation?

    Rom 10:9
    That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
  5. Can salvation be acheived through works?

    Eph 2:9
    Not of works, lest any man should boast.
  6. Can salvation be acheived through works?

    Titus 3:5
    Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
  7. What is repentance?
    Repentance is an expression of regret or sorrow for something that has occured and a change from one's sinful ways
  8. What causes a person to repent?

    Rom 2:4
    Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
  9. What causes a person to repent?

    II Cor 7:10
    For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
  10. Is repentance essential to salvation?

    Luke 13:3
    I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

  19. What are tongues?
    Acts 2:4

    And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
  20. Is the Holy Ghost essential to salvation?

    Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
