Early may You me with Your grace fill,

Gott, Vater der Barmherzigeit.
God, Father of Mercy.

Erfreue mich um deines Namens willen,
Gladden me for Your name's sake,

Du bist mein Gott, der gern erfreut.
you are my God, who gladly makes-happy.

Lass deinen Weg mich wieder freudig wallen
Let your path me again happily walk

Und lehre mich dein heilig Recht
and teach me Your sacred law

Mich täglich tun nach deinem Wohlgefallen;
myself daily to-make (after) your will;

Du bist mein Gott, ich bin dein Knecht.
You are my God, I am Your servant.

Herr, eile du, mein Schutz, mir beizustehen,

Und leite mich auf ebner Bahn.

He hears my cries, the Lord hears my prayer
