    1333-1600. Introduction of shamisen. Lots of warfare.

    1600-1868. Fuke and komuso sects. Shogun moves to Tokyo, peace.

    Emperor restores order. Restoration. Western military, and education systems adopted.

    Music of the left. China/India
  9. Komagaku origin
    Music of the right. Korea, Manchuria.
  10. Togaku instrumentation
    Flutes, sho, daiko, kakko, biwa. koto.
  11. Komagaku
    Same as tomgaku, no sho.
  12. Bugaku
    Dance music. No strings.
  13. Kangen
    No dancing allowed bitches.
  14. Shoga
    Vocalization of music parts n shit
