God’s Spirit doesn’t make cowards out of us. The Spirit gives us power, love, and self-control.

5 Don’t fall in love with money. Be satisfied with what you have. The Lord has promised that he will not leave us or desert us.6 That should make you feel like saying, “The Lord helps me! Why should I be afraid of what people can do to me?”

6 The Lord is on my side, and I am not afraid of what others can do to me.7 With the Lord on my side, I will defeat all of my hateful enemies.

You, Lord , are the light that keeps me safe. I am not afraid of anyone. You protect me, and I have no fears.

Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that he exists and that He rewards thos who earnestly seek Him.

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus os Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know.

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

The Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

He said to them all: If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O Lord. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known, in wrath remember mercy.
