  1. Leviticus 5:5-6
    CONFESS YOUR SINS TO MEN

    When you realize your guilt in any of these, you shall confess the sin that you have committed. And you shall bring to the Lord, as your penalty for the sin that you have committed, a female from the flock, a sheep or a goat, as a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement on your behalf for your sin.

    No. Only God has the power to forgive sins, but he exercises this power through men.

    Why does this fellow speak in this way? It is blasphemy! Who can forgive sins but God alone?

And he stood up and went to his home. When the crowds saw it, they were filled with awe, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to human beings.
