Proper procedure for acute LB patients:
- 1. Ice for 3-4 minutes.
- 2. Pump the disk: apply a little bit of pressure, hold, then increase the pressure... this should be relieving the pain. Continue for about 5 minutes, until you reach approx 30-40 lbs of pressure.
- 3. Slowly come off & reapply ice.
- 4. Then repeat!
