  1. What does WHMIS stand for?
    Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
  2. What is the purpose of WHMIS?
    The purpose is to ensure that employers have the right knowledge to teach thier employees about the materials they are working with.
  3. What are the three components of WHMIS?
    • - cautionary labels on containers of controlled products
    • - the provision of an MSDS for each controlled product
    • - a worker education program
  4. What does MSDS stand for?
    Material Safety Data Sheet
  5. What is the purpose of MSDS?
    It contains all the products information and all the dangerous and hazardous effect of it and also what to do when something wrong happen.
