    • LONG TERM:
    • Modify diet
    • Increase rest
    • Decrease stress
  5. Definition of Peptic Ulcer Disease (PUD)?
    A hollowed-out area that forms in the mucosal wall of the stomach, in the pylorus, in the duodenum, or in the esophagus.
  6. Difference in administering Anti-ulcer and Antiacid medications?
    Anti-ulcer medications are given before meals.

    Antiacids are given 1-2 hours after meals.
