- Action: Extension of 2-5 MTP joint, assist w/ ext 2-5 PIP & DIP joints, assist w/ eversion and dorsiflexion
- Origin
: lateral tibial condyle, proximal 3/4 ant fibula, head of fibula
Insertion: 4 tendons to distal phalanx of 2-5
Innervation: deep peroneal

Action: ext of 1-4 MTP joints, assist w/ ext of 2-4 PIP & DIP joints
Origin: superior lateral calcaneus, lateral talocalcaneal ligament, inferior extensor retinaculum
Insertion: base of proximal phalanx of great toe, lat sides of extensor digi longus tendons of 2-4.
Innervation: deep peroneal

Action: ext of 1 MTP & IP joints, dorsiflexion
Origin: middle 2/3 anterior fibula
Insertion: base of distal phalanx of great toe
Innervation: deep peroneal

Flexor Digitorum Brevis
Action: flex 2-5 PIP joints, assist w/ flex of 2-5 MTP joints
Origin: medial calcaneal tuberosity, plantar fascia
Insertion: 4 tendons to medial and lateral sides of middle phalanx of 2-5 toes
Innervation: medial plantar

Origin: posteromedial distal 2/3 tibia
Insertion: plantar base distal phalanx of 2-5 toes

Origin: medial side of cuboid plantar surface
Inserion: 2 tendons to medial and lateral sides of proximal phalanx of great toe
Innervation: medial plantar
