  1. Etmology
    The study of the origin of words.
  2. Prefix
    word parts attached to the begining of a word that modifies the meaning
  3. Root words
    main part of aword, basic meaning.
  4. Combining forums
    The word root and a combining vowel that connects the word (usually (o))
  5. Suffix
    The word parts attached to the end of the word that modifies the meaning.
  6. BODY CAVITIES
  7. Dorsal
    Back side of the body

    • a) cranial cavity
    • b) spinal cavity
  8. Ventral
    Front side of the body seperated by the diaphragm into the thoracic cavity and abominal cavity

    back
  14. Medial
    middle
