It is a small piece of DNA into which a forgein DNA fragment can be inserted.
  2. Plasmid
extra-chromosomal DNA molecule separate from the chromosomal DNA which is capable of replicating independently of the chromosomal DNA. In many cases, it is circular and double-stranded. Plasmids usually occur naturally in bacteria, but are sometimes found in eukaryotic organisms.
  3. what is a primer?
artificially produced segment of nucleotides that is complementary to an area just upstream or downstream from a gene of interes and whose function is to signal DNA polymerase where to begin replictaion.
  4. what is recombinant DNA
A DNA technology where dna fragments from one organism is combined with Dna from another organism
