Composition
How you arrange the different elements of a picture when creating a piece of art
Focal Point
a point of interest in the picture; you are drawn to that area of the piece first
Balance
both sides of the artwork are equally weighed
Asymmetrical Balance
Typically off-center or created with an odd or mismatched number of different elements. Usually the focal point is off to one side or in a corner of the piece.
Radial Balance
The elements in your design will radiate outward from the focal point or they will look as though they are travelling towards the focal point. (sunflower) YOU MUST USE REPETITION.
