    The process of converting thoughts into words.

    Audience
  4. Decoding :
    process of interpreting the meaning of the message, selectively based on their own experience and attitudes.
  5. Feedback:
    the audience response to the message
  6. Message:
    context of communitcation process: thoughts and ideas put into meaningful expressions.
  7. Channel:
    • the medium through which speaker sends a message.
    • ex television,
  8. Noise:
    • any interferance with the message.
    • ex: cell phone ringing ,ppl tlking
  9. Shared meaning:
    the mutual understandingof a message between speaker and audience.
  10. Rhetorical situation:
    any thing that influence the speaker, the audience, the occasion, and thus ultimately, the speech.
