Embolic Stroke
This stroke occurs in relation to injury to a blood vessel wall and formation of a clot.
Thrombolic Stroke
This stroke results from bleeding into the brain tissue itself or into the subarachnoid space or ventricle.
Hemorrhagic Stroke
This is bleeding within the brain casued by rupture of a vessel.
Intracerebral Hemorrhage
ICH
This stroke results from inadequate blood flow to the brain from partial or complete occlusion of an artery.
Ischemic Stroke
This stroke occurs in relation to injury to a blood vessel wall and formation of a blood clot.
Thrombotic Stroke
This occurs when an embolus lodges in and occludes a cerebral artery.
Embolic Stroke
This occurs when intracranial bleeding into CSF filled space between the arachnoid and pia mater.
Subarachnoid Hemorrhage
This is paralysis of 1 side of the body.
Hemiplegis
This is numbness/impaired sensation on 1 side of the body.
