    • standardized to contain 100 units per milliliter of solution or suspension
    • U-100 (100 units per mL)
    • Do not use u or U make sure you spell out the word units!!!
  2. heparin
    • slows clotting time
    • takes longer for the blood to clot
  3. problems are all about setting up proportions!
