Yesterday was Sunday, weekend.
My wife woke herself up at 8:30.
She got herself up, dressed herself
and went to the bathroom, where
she washed herself,
she combed herself
and she cleaned herself the teeth.
- Ayer fue domingo, fin de semana.
- Mi mujer se despertó a las ocho y media.
- Se levantó, se vistió
- y fue al cuarto de baño, donde
- se lavó,
- se peinó
- y se limpió los dientes.

When terminated washing herself up,
she woke me up crying,
"You get up, you get up,
already it's nine.
You have to go with me
to visit my parents this morning."
- Cuanto terminó de asearse,
- me despertó gritando:
- "Levántate, levántate,
- ya son las nueve.
- Tienes que ir conmigo
- a visitar a mis padres esta mañana."

I cleaned myself the teeth,

she came down from the stairs,
she entered in the kitchen and
she began to prepare the breakfast.

- entró en la cocina y
- empezó de preparar el desayuno.

I turned off the lights,
I turned on the radio,
I listened for a while to the news,
I turned it off,
I went out to the balcony, where
I smoked a cigarette
admiring the beautiful landscape
of the morning

- encendí la radio,
- encuché un rato las noticias,
- la apagué,
- salí al balcón, donde
- fumé un cigarillo
- admirando el hermoso paisaje
- de la mañana.

Then I entered into the sitting room,
I read for a while the newspaper
and watched the television.
When I heard the cries of my wife,
I went down for breakfast.
- Luego entré en la sala,
- leí un rato el periódico
- and puse la televisión.
- Cuando oí los gritos de mi mujer,
- bajé a desayunar.

She took some biscuits with jam
and a glass of milk,
and I took toasted bread with butter
& a cup of coffee without sugar or milk.
- Ella tomó unas galletas con mermelada
- y un vaso de leche,
- y tomé pan tostado con mantequilla
- y una taza de café sin azúcar ni leche.

After the breakfast,
I put on myself a coat,
opened the door
and went out to the patio.
- Después de desayunar,
- me puse un abrigo,
- abrí la puerta
- y salí al patio.

My wife washed the dishes,
she cleaned the table,
she dried herself the hands,
she painted herself the lips,
she took her handbag
and she closed the door.
- Mi mujer lavó los platos,
- limpió la mesa,
- se secó las manos,
- se pintó los labios,
- cogió su bolso
- y cerró la puerta.

We took a taxi and
this left us right at the door
of the house of my in-laws.
- Cogimos un taxi y
- éste nos dejó justamente a la puerta
- de la casa de mis suegros.

At night my in-laws, my wife and me
went to the cinema.
We had to take the bus,
because the cinema is somewhat far.
We went down of the bus and
we entered in the cinema.
- Por la noche, mis suegros, mi mujer y yo
- fuimos al cine.
- Tuvimos que tomar el autobús,
- porque el cine está algo lejos.
- Bajamos del autobús y
- entramos en el cine.

The movie started at 8:30 and
terminated at 10:15.
We liked it very much the movie. Also
we liked them very much
the ice-creams that we ate and
the coca-cola that we drank.
We returned home at midnight.
- La película empezó a las oche y media y
- terminó at las diez y cuarto.
- Nos gustó mucho la película. Tambien
- nos gustaron mucho
- los helados que comimos y
- la coca-cola que bebimos.
- Volvimos a casa a medianoche.
