  3. Describe three reasons why lions are vulnerable to extinction (Categorized by the IUCN Red List System as vulnerable)? Why are the categorized as vulnerable?
    a. Lions are inbreeding and disease transmission is increased due to habitat destruction and reduction.

    b. Lions get infected with tuberculosis and canine distemper by domestic dogs. Since humans and their dogs are encroaching on lion habitat, this is an increasing risk and is often fatal.
