  1. GRADE I
    very faint
  2. GRADE II
    faint but recognizable
  3. GRADE III
    loud, but moderate in intensity
  4. GRADE IV
    loud, accompanied by a palpable thrill
  5. GRADE IV
    • very loud, accompanied by a palpable thrill.
    • audible with stethoscope partially off pts chest
  6. GRADE VI
    • extremely loud, may be heard with stethoscope slightly above pts chest.
    • accompanied by a palpable thrill
