    Action: Elevation of Eyebrows

    Action: Closes Eyes

    Action: Closes lips

    Action: Elevates and creases skin of neck

    Action: Elevation of Mandible (ie; close mouth)

    Action: Elevation of Eyebrows

    • Action: depresses scapula
    • Origin: Occipital bone and Thoracic vertebrae
    • Insertion: Scapula and Clavicle
  8. Masseter
    • Action: Elevation of Mandible (ie; closing mouth)
    • Origin: Zygomatic Arch
    • Insertion: Mandible
  9. Zygomaticus
    Action: Elevation of corners of mouth (ie; smile)
  10. Sternocleidomastoid
    • Action: Unilateral; rotation of head so face turns to side
    • Origin: Clavicle and Sternum (Manubrium)
    • Insertion: Mastoid Process
