    cardiac output (volume of blood flowing out in a minute)
  9. COPD
    chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (emphysema, chronic bronchitis)
  10. CPAP
    continuous positive airway pressure (sleep machine blows air to assist breathing)
  11. CSF
    cerebrospinal fluid (obtained through spinal tap)
  12. CVS
    Cerebrovascular accident (stroke, no O2)
  13. DRE
    Digital rectal exam
  14. DVT
    Deep vein thrombosis (blood clot)
  15. ECT
    Electroconvulsive therapy (shock therapy)
