What is required to detect deviations early enough to be corrected by small adjustments?
Airspeed changes very slowly because of small changes in thrust and drag. Therefore -
    • pitch and thrust
    • not recommended
    • rapid instrument scan
    • Anticipate thrust changes and apply them atthe first indication of change.
