  6. Asses for
    • duration
    • frequency
    • loudness
  7. Duration
    less than 1 second to several seconds
  8. Frequency
    • Normal - every 5-20 seconds
    • Hypoactive- every 1 minute
    • Hyperactive- every 1-3 seconds
  9. Loudness
    audible ( soft, distant, loud)
  10. If no sounds are heard in a quadrant
    coontinue to listen for a minimum of 3 minutes.
