    The field that studies the link between sensation and perception
  2. Define Absolute Threshold
    The minimum amount of the energy an organism can detect 50% of the time.
  3. Define noise.
    Irrevelant and competing stimuli
  4. Sensation
    The process of receiving stimulus energies from the external environment
  5. Difference Thresholds
    Just Noticeable Difference (JND), increases with stimulus magnitude
