    A vector graphics program (like illustrator) uses mathematical formulas to construct the image, building the best quality image possible.

  57. Bleeds
    In printing, bleed is printing that goes beyond the edge of where the sheet will be trimmed. In other words, the bleed is the part on the side of a document that gives printers a small amount of space to account for natural movement of the paper during guillotining and design inconsistencies.

    • -The composition stays the same
    • - It can scale to fit a billboard and won't lose quality. The same applies when you shrink and scale it down. The image quality will be flawless. 
    • -You can use them for print material as well as digital media.

    • - They are flexible, you can manipulate it better when changes need to be made.
    • - The elements can be pulled apart for editing and separating it from the background
    • - You can edit colors easily
    • -The colors can be printed consistently across Commercial printers
    • - The other great quality of Vector files that they can be converted to JPG and PNG formats very easily for usage on web, therefore you get the best of both worlds
  62. EPS
    EPS file is most commonly used for vector elements such as Icons. The advantage of the EPS file is that it is usually compatible with recent and old versions of illustrator. It is a highly compatible format. Though still in use today, EPS is largely been replaced by native file formats. Because EPS files contain image-specific data, they are a useful format for graphics that need to be scaled.
  63. AI or AIC (Adobe Illustrator Cloud)
    AI files are files that are made to be used by adobe illustrator softwares using mathematical formulas. These files are commonly used by graphic designers, logo designers, illustrators, printers. AI files only function with illustrator.
  64. AIT
    A file with the AIT file extension is an Illustrator Template file that used to create multiple Adobe Illustrator files. AIT files hold the different components of the adobe illustrator drawing like the images, settings, and layout. They are useful when working with projects that have a similar preformatted design, like brochures, business cards, etc. Creating an AIT file is done through an Adobe Illustrator Fiile.
  65. SVG
    SVG files are vector file formats for the web. If you want to create an animation on your site where your logo is enlarged, you have to use this format in order for the image to stay high quality and sharp. SVG files are great for logos, icons, and buttons. Digital design uses SVG.

    A file format that provides an electronic image of text and graphics that looks like a printed document that can be viewed, printed, and electronically transmitted.
