  1. Direct observation
    Direct observation is a method of collecting evaluative information where subject is watched in their usual environment without altering that environment.
  2. Qualitative interviews
    Qualitative interviews allows researchers to deeply investigate participants experiences, opinions and perspectives by using open-ended questions and nonstatistical analyses.
  3. Questionnaires
    Questionnaires are a set of questions or other prompts used to obtain information from a participant about a topic of interest.
  4. Focus groups
    A focus group is a research method that brings together a small group of people to answer questions in a moderated setting. The group is chosen from specific demographic traits.
  5. Yarning circles
    A Yarning Circle is an important mechanism in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture, it provides a safe space whereby individuals can share their knowledge, culture, insights, and opinions without any judgement.
