    • Sexual reproduction involves the fusion of specialised sex cells.
    • Produces offspring (progeny) that are unique individuals.
    • Half their genes come from one parent.

    • Fertilisation results in the formation of a diploid zygote from which new individual develops.

    (Vas deferens) carries sperm from epididymis to the urethra.

    • Produces seminal fluid which feeds the sperm and allows them to swim.

    Flagellum - allows sperm to swim
