  1. During unlawful interference, what phrase relays to ATC that the flight crew is still in control of the aircraft?
    "On-going attempted hijacking"
  2. Can you shut down engines in ground icing conditions if an extended delay is anticipated?
    Yes. If you have made arrangements with ground crew, de icing crew, or maintenance to inspect the engine prior to re-start.
  3. Can you single engine taxi to the CDF?
    Yes. If there are no ground icing conditions present.
  4. Approximately two minutes prior to landing for a prepared emergency landing what should be announced over the PA?
    "Emergency stations, emergency stations"
  5. What is the PA approximately 30 seconds prior to touchdown for a prepared emergency landing?
    "Brace for landing, Brace for landing"
  6. What is said over the PA for a rapid deplanement?
    "Deplane immediately and leave your personal belongings"
  7. What is an abnormal landing?
    This indicates a condition exists that requires a high alert level

    No need to conduct the prepared emergency landing
  8. Why don't we deploy masks when there is smoke or fumes in the cabin?
    O2 system is only intended for use in case of cabin pressure loss.
  9. What are requirements for the 1000' stabilized approach gate (Configuration gate)
    1. Aircraft is fully configured for landing with the landing check complete

    2. If not PM will call the conditions continually until corrected or go around.
  10. What are the stabilized approach criteria for the 500' arrival gate (stable gate)?
    1. Airspeed is stabilized on target (+10/-5) and Thrust stabilized to maintain target airspeed

    2. Rate of decent not in excess of 1000 fpm

    3. CATI and RNP within one dot lateral and vertical

    4. CATII within 1/2 dot lateral and vertical
  11. For lower than standard take off minima with takeoff visibility of RVR600 or 175m what are the requirements for runway of departure?
    1. Serviceable and functioning HIRL, and

    2. Runway Centre Line Lights, and

    3. Runway Centre Line Markings that are plainly visible to the PIC throughout the takeoff run, and

    4. Two transmissometers Touchdown zone (A) and mid point (B) reading not less than RVR600
  12. What are the requirements for the 200’ gate (go around gate)?
    1. 1000’ and 500’ requirements fully met

    2. Aircraft is in a position to make a normal landing within TPL and LTPL parameters.
