    • -FMC CRZ page: ENG OUT select.  Determine drift down and advise PF.
    • PF:
    • -Ensure VNAV
    • -Set ENG OUT alt in MCP alt window.
    • -Call EXECUTE the eng out crz DD page.
    • PM:
    • -Execute
    • -All exterior lights ON.
    • -Advise ATC.
    • PM:
    • -Initiate turn if required.
    • -Call: CHECKLIST ENGINE FAILURE IN CRUISE.
    • -At alt capture, determine optimum cruise alt.
    • -Manually adjust thrust to maintain ENG OUT speed.
    • -Land at nearest suitable airport
  6. ENGINE FAILURE ON FINAL APPROACH
    • FLAP 20 OR LESS:

  7. ENGINE FIRE / SEVERE DAMAGE / SEPARATION DURING MISSED APPROACH / REJECTED LANDING
    • PF: GO AROUND, FLAP 20
    • PM: Call ENG Fire or Failure.  Positive rate.
    • PF: GEAR UP
    • PM: Select Gear up.
    • At 400' AGL:
    • CMD CTR, Press GA switch, GA annunciations, LNAV or HDG SELECT
    • Continue with same as on Take Off.
  8. TRAFFIC AVOIDANCE
    • TA:
    • Both: Look for traffic.
    • PF: If sighted, maneuver if needed.

    • RA, except a climb in landing config:
    • PF: AP / AT Disconnect.  Fly smoothly to satisfy RA command.
    • PM: Advise ATC.

    • RA climb in landing config:
    • PF: AP / AT Disconnect.  Max thrust Call FLAPS 20.  Fly smoothly to satisfy RA command.
    • PM:  Verify Max thrust.  Position flap to 20 detent.  Call POSITIVE RATE
    • PF: Call GEAR UP
    • PM: Set GEAR UP

    • AFTER CLEAR OF TRAFFIC
    • PF: Return to previous flight path.  No more than 500 fpm.
    • PM: Advise ATC
  9. UPSET RECOVERY
    • AP / AT Disconnect
    • Fly the aircraft back to normal.
  10. TERRAIN AVOIDANCE GPWS
    • GPWS CAUTION
    • Correct flight path or airplane config.
    • GPWS WARNING
    • PF:
    • Call FIREWALL
    • AP / AT disconnect
    • Max thrust
    • Wings level / Pitch 20
    • Retract speedbrakes
    • Terrain remains threat: continue rotation to PLI/shaker/buffet.

    Do not change config till Clear of warning
  11. STALL

    • Nose down elevator til buffet/shaker stops.
    • Wings level.
    • Increase thrust smoothly
    • Retract speedbrakes
    • Maintain config Unless clean during lift off: FLAPS 1
    • PM:
    • Monitor alt and a/s.  Verify actions complete.  Call trends.
    • Select FLAP as directed.
  12. TERRAIN AVOIDANCE WINDSHEAR
    • MANUAL FLIGHT

    • Push GA
    • Apply MAX thrust
    • AT disconnect
    • Wings level pitch 15° up.

    • AUTOMATIC FLIGHT

    • Call WINDSHEAR TOGA
    • Push GA
    • Verify GA and GA Thrust
    • Retract speedbrakes
    • Monitor system perf.

    • MANUAL OR AUTO FLIGHT PF:
    • Do not change gear flaps config until no factor.
    • Monitor vert speed and alt.
    • Do not attempt to regain lost airspeed til WS no factor.
    • PM:
    • Monitor vert speed and alt.  Call out trend.
  13. ABORTED ENGINE START
    FUEL CONTROL switch: CUTOFF
  14. DUAL ENGINE FAILURE
    • ENG START selectors (both).  FLT
    • Thrust levers (both). IDLE
    • FUEL CONTROL switches (both). CUTOFF then RUN
    • IF engine appears stalled OR EGT approaches the standby engine indicator placard limit:
    • FUEL CONTROL switch.  Confirm CUTOFF then RUN
    • Repeat as needed.
  15. ENGINE LIMIT OR SURGE OR STALL
    • A/T ARM switch OFF
    • Thrust lever (affected) Confirm Retard til limits or idle.
  16. SMOKE OR FIRE FROM LITHIUM BATTERY
    • If necessary, transfer control to the flight crew member seated on the opposite side of the fire.

    • O2 mask.  ON 100%
    • Crew communications.  Establish

    • Set gear up pitch att and thrust:
    • Flaps extended. 10° /  80% 
    • Flaps up.  4° / 75%
  19. THREE GREEN LIGHTS NOT ON FOR LANDING
    • Provided no GEAR DISAGREE mess and GEAR light not ON.
    • Accomplish normal landing.
  20. OCEANIC DIVERSION
    • Initiate drills and time critical checklists.
    • Declare emergency and request clearance.
    • Choose one:
    • If clearance obtained: Proceed as per.
    • If clearance unavailable:
    • OCA.      30° R/L    5 NM
    • China.    30° R       5 NM
    • Russia.   30° R       16,2 NM
    • Engine OUT: Minimize descent til established on offset.
    • When established on offset, ±500 ft
  21. CREW INCAPACITATION
    • -Assume control.  Fly the airplane.  Engage A/P.
    • -Request F/A assistance.
    • -Secure incapacitated crew.  Tilt seat back, aft, head back, shoulder harness, remove from seat when practical.
    • -If O2 needed, land at nearest suitable airport.
