  2. Mesentery
    Attach small intestines to abdominal wall
  3. Cardiac stomach
    Form chyme by mixing food with gastric juices
  4. Gall bladder
    Store bile
  5. Caecum
    Absorb remaining fluids and salts. Connects small and large intestine.
  6. Ascending Colon
    Absorbs water, electrolytes, and form stool
  7. Descending colon
    Store feces that will be emptied into the rectum
  8. Common bile duct
    Carries bile from the gallbladder to the duodenum
  9. Pancreas
    Create digestive enzymes. Produces insulin and glucagon to regulate blood sugar.
  10. Pyloric stomach
    Allow stomach contents to pass from the stomach to the small intestine
  11. Duodenum
    Mixes bile and pancreatic enzymes
  12. Esophagus
    Carry food and liquid from the mouth to the stomach
  13. Ileum
    Further digest food and absorb nutrients
  14. Jejunum
    Digest food and absorb nutrients

    Carry air to and from the lungs
  16. Diaphragm
    Contracts and relaxes to bring air in and out of the lungs

    Receive blood from the pulmonary veins for circulation and pumps blood left ventricle

    Push blood from the left atrium into the aorta

    Receive blood from the inferior and superior vena cava for circulation
  28. Right ventricle
    Takes blood from the right atrium and towards pulmonary trunk and lungs
  29. Pulmonary Trunk
    Transports blood from right ventricle to lungs
  30. Septum
    Separates the atria and ventricles
  31. Brachiocephalic art/vein
    Transports blood to the chest
  32. Subclavian art/vein
    Transports blood to the shoulders
  33. Abdominal aorta
    Supplies oxygenated blood to the stomach, pelvis and lungs
  34. Inferior vena cava
    Collects all blood from the lower body and dumps into the right atrium
  35. Superior vena cava
    Collects blood from the brachiocephalic and dumps into the right atrium
  36. Thoracic aorta
    Part of aorta that carries oxygenated blood through the chest
  37. Carotid arteries
    Carries blood to the head
  38. Coronary art/vein
    Supply blood to the heart muscle
  39. Jugular veins
    Carries blood down from the head
  40. Common iliac art/vein
    Carry blood to the legs; is where the aorta splits into two
  41. Hepatic Portal Vein
    Returns blood from GI organs to the inferior vena cava. Regulates glucose, amino acid, and lipid levels
  42. Renal art/vein
    Transport blood to the kidneys
  43. Spleen
    Holds and filters blood as part of the immune system
