    Located in dermal papilla
  2. Sweat glands (5)
    Eccrine Glands- water, salt, uric acid (cool body)

    Apocrine Glands- axillary regions, groin, active when upset, frightened or in pain

    Ceruminous Glands: secrete ear wax

    Mammary Glands- Produce milk postpartum

    Sebaceous glands- produce sebum (oil)
  3. Epidermis
    Outer layer of stratified squamous epithelium (stratum basale, keratinization, stratum corneum, melanin)
  4. Dermis
    Inner layer of loose & irregular dense and connective tissues (dermal papillae, macrophages, subcutaneous layer (hypodermis))
  5. Pacinian corpuscles
    Pressure receptors; deep
