    • -Responsible for motor

    Broca's area
    • -Bottom of the pre-central gyrus - motor speech
    • -Usually left hemisphere

    Broca's aphasia
    • -Expressive of the ability to produce language (spoken or written)
    • -Patients have insight of the problem and are frustrated

    Pre-motor area
    • -Coordinated movement
    • -Learned complex motor activities

    Ex: writing or shooting a basketball

    • -Voluntary behavior such as decision making, planning, problem-solving, and thinking
    • -Attention
    • -Inhibition
    • -Intelligence
    • -Social skills
