    Cotyledon: first leaf to appear in germination.
  9. What are the differences between herbaceous dicot stems and herbaceous monocot stems?
    • Monocots have one cotyledon, is parallel and vascular bundles are scattered.
    • Dicots have 2 cotyledons, is netted and vascular bundles are in a ring.
