    • Adjust speed to Green Dot
    • PM:  Verify MCT
    • Obtain single eng driftdown ALT
    • Advise ATC
    • PF:  Call appropriate Checklist
    • PM:  Accomplish Checklist
  6. TCAS Traffic Avoidance
    • TCAS TA:
    • PF/PM  Attempt to acquire target.
    • PF: If sighted, maneuver if needed.
    • PM: Turn ON external lights.

    • TCAS RA:
    • PF: Disengage AP / FD OFF
    • Maneuver to RA fly to zone
    • PM: Turn ON exterior lights
    • "Air Canada XXX TCAS RA"

    • When clear of conflict:
    • PF: Return to ALT with 500 FPM max
    • Call for config / automation changes
    • PM: "Air Canada XXX clear of conflict, returning to ALT"
    • Configure as per PF
  7. Upset Recovery
    • PF:  Disengage AP / Disconnect AT
    • FLY THE AIRPLANE BACK TO NORMAL
  8. Terrain Awareness Warning System TAWS
    • TAWS Caution:
    • Correct the flight path or airplane configuration

    • TAWS Warning:
    • PF: "FIREWALL"
    • Disengage AP / Disconnect AT
    • Thrust Levers to MAX thrust
    • Initiate Pull Up and Wings Level
    • Ensure spoilers are retracted
    • Climb at best angle / respect stick shaker
    • (Sidestick at aft soft stop)
    • Maintain config to ground contact no longer a factor

    • PM: Verify all action completed / call omissions
    • Monitor vertical sped and Alt
    • Call out trend toward terrain contact

    • When Ground Contact no longer factor
    • PF: Decrease Pitch and accelerate
    • Call for config change & re-engage automation
    • PM: "CLEAR OF WARNING"
    • Configure as per PF
  9. Stall Recovery
    • PF: "STALL"
    • AP / AT OFF
    • Nose down elevator
    • Wings level
    • Thrust as required
    • Spoilers retracted
    • PM: Confirm AP / AT OFF
    • Monitor / Call alt & speed trend
    • Confirm spoilers retracted

    • When out of Stall conditions
    • PF: Return to desired flight path
    • Call for config change and re-engage automation
    • PM: "CLEAR OF WARNING"
    • Configure as per PF
  10. WINDSHEAR WARNING escape maneuver
    • PF: Select TOGA
    • Verify / advance Thrust Lever to max thrust
    • Follow FD guidance
    • Ensure spoilers are retracted
    • Maintain config till "Clear of Warning"
    • Follow escape guidance till windshear no longer indicated.
    • PM: Verify Max thrust is set.
    • Confirm Spoilers retracted
    • Monitor flight path, airspeed, vert speed and alt.

    • When Clear of Warning
    • PF: Call config change & re-engage automation
    • PM: "CLEAR OF WARNING"
    • Configure as requested by PF
  11. GO AROUND
    • PF: "GO AROUND FLAP"
    • PM: Select GA flap 2/4
    • Positive rate:
    • PM: "FLAP 2/4 SELECTED, POSITIVE RATE"
    • PF: "GEAR UP, SET SPEED VGA/VAC"
    • PM: Select Gear UP, verify or select Speed MAN VGA/VAC
    • Stabilized climb above 400'
    • PF: Verify or call appropriate lateral mode
    • PM: Verify or select modes as required

    • At acceleration alt, min 1000' AAE

    • If O2 required: land at nearest suitable airport.
