What are your responsibilities at your current place of employment?
- Review charts for timeliness and accuracy of data and to verify what we are billing for coincide with the documents and notify staff of discrepancy
- Accurate data entry and maintenance for 23 BH programs client’s demographic information within the Salesforce system, which is used to track patient outcome for quality and grant purpose.
- Process Records request making sure to protect the pt and agency while always implementing HIPAA guideline
- HIPAA Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
- Make sure the charts are prepared with the proper legal documentation prior to having them deliver to the physical or psychiatrist office.
- Train staff on proper documentations and the placement
- Administrative and clerical responsibilities including
- Sorts and files loose document.
- Purges files to maximize space
- I have provided coverage at the BH front desk taking calls, assistance clients, scheduling appointment, and taking and documenting payment, I have also assisted the billing department in input billing

- Experience with Microsoft word, excel and database software and I quickly adapt to new program

Making a true difference in the lives of the clients, I don't work directly with the clients but I understand how helping the staff to maintain the clients charts help the client and their families continue to receive and maintain needed benefits

I like a manage who sets the main objective and either
- allow me to determine the best way to achieve the goal or one the
- give more specific direction up front
Either way is fine as long as I'm well-versed about what's expected

It depend on who I'm communication with
- I feel it important to balance email with a personal touch
- Being a phone call or meeting.
I tend to give the overview and then a few supporting details.
